    Although mine aren't SRX, but, NG-RE's in MX, I recently did the USB upgrade from 17.4R2-S10 to 22.2R3-S2.8 and it was fine. I saved the config before, and put it back in after.     Hi, If possible, don't use dynamic-applications for service rules like this one. Just create a rule somewhere on top of the zone-context, use predefined or custom applications, and set the dynamic-application to "none". ------------------------------ M Gi ------------------------------

    Please advise on Junos version and BGP configuration for that peer. Have you tried capturing the egress BGP on the SRX with monitor traffic | Junos OS | Juniper Networks to ensure it's not corruption on the wire or by the receiver?
